Kelly Yili

Hi there! I am Kelly from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Investigating funded projects in my undergraduate study and doing internships in North America, I am thankful that I can deepen and strengthen my knowledge and expertise in the area I am truly passionate about in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. As being in one of the world's most exciting cities, I believe pursuing research study in Hong Kong is the best decision to access wide-ranging and up-to-date resources. It is also a great opportunity to explore and learn different cultures from my new friends.

As an Engineering Ambassador, I feel deeply honored to present our School to public. The School of Engineering and the University provide broad range of activities and creative courses to students. Problem-oriented, innovative, and learning by doing, the study programs focus to a great extent on analysis, problem-solving ability, and leadership training. I believe graduates in SENG of HKUST will become critical independent thinkers so as engineers capable of solving problems independently.
