Ken Kin Yiu

HKUST is an outstanding university with energetic and innovative people which is a place full of valuable opportunities for the students. I have better equipped myself with knowledge and vision in the past three years.

I am currently a student majoring in Civil and Structural Engineering. I think being a civil engineer can help planning, designing and constructing different infrastructures, which is very meaningful. Besides, it is a subject which is human-related and close to our society. We need to investigate the need of the citizens and our town and preserve our precious environment. Therefore, I have chosen it as my major and I have developed my interest towards engineering as well.

In the coming year, I will have a precious chance to be the Engineering Student Ambassador which can make me become a more mature and responsible person. I would like to share my experiences with high school students and their parents. In addition, I hope I can share my passion and experiences during my university life.

I will try my very best to be an excellent Student Ambassador and make my efforts. I hope you can also enjoy the blissful moments in this university and I am looking forward to seeing you.
