Hey there! I am an international student from India pursuing a Computer Science degree. I have had great interest for numbers since childhood. Willing to pursue a career well connected to maths and science, I was instinctively drawn towards engineering. As I graduated from high school, it seemed more than just science. It is an art in which we can think, innovate and come up with the best possible solutions for day-to-day problems. To solve such problems, technology is advancing to build human like characteristics digitally. This upcoming era of artificial intelligence captivated my interest and hence I decided to study Computer Science and Engineering.

HKUST provides abundant opportunities to learn, improve and innovate, which is why I chose to come here. The amicable student-professor relation helped me devise a plan for the forthcoming semesters and set future goals as well. Also, the peer-to-peer interaction helped me to adjust and bond with different people better. Altogether, contradicting the conventional stigmas, HKUST challenges and trains you to venture the real world. HKUST may also be known to some as the University of Stress and Tension, but funnily enough, this is how it prepares you for the most arduous and challenging journeys of life. In the end, it will teach you how to face challenges, learn and grow as an individual. The numerous opportunities like the Robotics Team, the internship and exchange programs, the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), provide a glimpse of the real world applications of engineering. Hence, it is the ideal place to learn, explore and innovate the world of engineering and pursue your dreams.
