Since high school, I have been passionate about mathematics and science, with a strong interest in people’s lives. This made me realize how closely math and science relate to our daily experiences, sparking my interest in engineering—the field that uses scientific knowledge to create practical solutions for people. Among the various branches, I was especially drawn to bioengineering, motivated by a desire to develop technologies that address life-related challenges. Choosing HKUST was the best decision for me because it provides a world-class academic environment to grow my skills and pursue my dreams.

Being part of the ESA program offers me more than just academic growth; it provides an invaluable opportunity to gain diverse experiences, to interact and collaborate with students from different disciplines. These experiences in teamwork and communication will form a solid foundation for me to become an outstanding engineer. The chance to exchange ideas and learn from peers with varied expertise is one of the most exciting aspects of ESA for me.

I look forward to making the most of my remaining time at HKUST by continuing to learn and grow both academically and personally. Through ESA, I hope to embrace new challenges and opportunities, building connections that will help me contribute positively to society as an engineer. Ultimately, I am excited to develop not only myself but also to grow together with others through collaboration and shared objectives in this vibrant community.
