Hey guys, im Yash and i major in Computer Science. What immediately drew me to HKUST was its world renowned reputation, but what truly won me over was the incredible flexibility to explore every corner of tech, from AI and fintech.

Before joining, I knew I loved coding, but I wasn't sure which path to take. HKUST gave me the perfect playground to figure that out. I dove into introductory courses, got inspired by seminars from leading tech innovators, and experienced professors delivering a global spectra of knowledge. 

Once you find your interests, HKUST opens every door allowing you to master it. You can take insightful courses, pursue undergraduate research with brilliant professors, compete in hackathons, and land amazing internships right here in Hong Kong's tech hub. The university's global network also means you can take your code on exchange to top universities worldwide.

Beyond the labs and libraries, the vibrant campus life is unbeatable. When I’m not debugging code, you’ll probably find me hitting the gym or hanging out with friends at many of the relaxing locations on campus, my favourite being seaside!
